Mike Farwell works his tail off for Cystic Fibrosis

 Kitchener, On Mike Farwell, Country 106.7 radio host & friend of THEMUSEUM will be at THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener on Sunday May 18th from 12pm till 3pm selling museum merchandise to help raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. 

As part of a greater effort by Mike, he hopes to raise awareness and $10,000 during May which is Cystic Fibrosis month. Cystic Fibrosis took Mike’s two sisters, Luanne and Sheri. 

With 60 % of his goal realized, Mike and THEMUSEUM hope to raise even more through the sale of museum merchandise, memberships and admissions, with a percentage of each going to Mike’s campaign. They are four ways to help: 

  • Up to 25% of profits from merchandise 
  • 20% of every membership sold 
  • 1$ of each admission sold 
  • Make a donation 

This is also the opening weekend of THEMUSEUM’s Unwrapping Egypt exhibition as well as the special spring thaw pricing of $8.95. “Mike has been a good friend of THEMUSEUM and I’m happy to help him and his cause” CEO David Marskell said.
