Kitchener, ON: THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener is excited to welcome Captain Patrick “Flocho” Pollen, Canadian Forces Fighter Pilot, to present on his life experiences.
On Friday May 31st, the pilot of this year’s CF-18 demonstration team Patrick Pollen is coming to THEMUSEUM. The demonstration team will be flying in the Waterloo Air Show on Saturday June 1st. Pollen is here to present on what it is like to fly Canada’s front line Jet Fighter. After his presentation he will be available for questions as well as autographs.
Captain Patrick “Flocho” Pollen began his career when he first joined the Canadian Forces as an Officer in Training. After completion of the program he went on to Moosejaw Saskatchewan for basic flying training. Pollen successfully earned his wings in early 2000.
Since then Pollen has been deployed twice overseas, once to Afghanistan and once to Italy. During his career with the Canadian forces Pollen has accumulated more than 3200 hours of military flying in high performance aircrafts.
