Kitchener, ON – THEMUSEUM is honoured to once again partner with The Coalition of Muslim Women Kitchener Waterloo (CMW) for the fourth annual Islamic Art Exhibition. This year’s exhibition is co-organized by Ati Zar, who is a local artist and a member of CMW. The exhibition will centre on the theme Harmony and Beauty in Islamic Art and will proudly be on display this fall at THEMUSEUM.
With such a diverse community, we are thrilled to once again be the stage for fourth time collaboration with the Coalition of Muslim Women Kitchener Waterloo. We would like to acknowledge funding support from the Ontario Arts Council, an agency of the Government of Ontario.
Artists are now invited to submit their work based on their perception of Harmony and Beauty in Islamic Art. All mediums including but not limited to fine art paintings, calligraphy, photography, ceramics, quilting, metal and woodwork, and collage are welcome for submission.
Please submit all artwork by Wednesday, July 30 to The Coalition of Muslim Women.
