Join us at THEMUSEUM for our weekly 55 & Better Programming at 1:30 pm. Programming is included with free admission on Thursdays for those ages 55+, and we will have a pop-up café with FREE treats provided by Chartwell Retirement Residences each week during the program.
This week for 55 & Better, interpretative staff will lead a guided tour of our fourth floor exhibition, Agents for Change | Facing the Anthropocene, one of four important exhibitions, as THEMUSEUM weighs in our climate emergency.
About the exhibition:
“Agents for Change| Facing the Anthropocene”, co-curated by Nina Czegledy and Jane Tingley, presents ten interdisciplinary women artists working on the theme of ecological change and at the intersection of science, technology, and art. Canadian and international artists include Diane Landry, Donna Legault, Maayke Schurer, Liz Miller, Elaine Whittaker, Kristine Diekman, Olga Kisseleva, Pinar Yoldas, Caro McCaw, Vicki Smith, Rasa Smite, Raitis Smits.
