Celebrate National Indigenous People’s Day and the Summer Solstice with a traditional Sunrise Ceremony that will start at 5:59 am on Wednesday, June 21st!
Haudenosaunee Community Member, Kelly Fran Davis, will share Haudenosaunee teachings and lead a tobacco offering. Local fire keeper, Al McDonald, will support the ceremony and will keep the fire alive throughout the ceremony. After the ceremony, guests are invited to come into THEMUSEUM’s Atrium and experience Haudenosaunee singing and dancing!
Coffee, tea, and pastries will be available for guests after the ceremony.
