Local candidates in the upcoming provincial election from Kitchener and Waterloo have been invited to attend and discuss the importance of arts and culture in the Region. Members of cultural organizations and institutions will also be in attendance; the general public is also welcome. This marks the sixth Cultural Exchange event hosted by THEMUSEUM.
Each candidate, in no particular order, will have up to three and a half minutes to share their position on arts and culture. This will then be followed by a five-minute discussion lead by arts and culture representatives and those in attendance.
Candidates will move from table to table to ensure they have a chance to meet with everyone throughout the evening. After each rotation, arts and culture representatives will be given time to speak about their organizations and upcoming projects.
Admission to A Cultural Exchange 6.0 is free, with a suggested donation of $5.00. Doors open at 6:15 and the exchange begins at 7:00pm sharp. This is a licensed event.
