Dinosaurs on the Wing Featuring Paleontologist Dr. Jordan Mallon

Date: Wednesday, February 3, 2021

Time: 7 pm

Sometimes, scientific discoveries completely revolutionize our understanding of a subject. One such discovery was that of the first feathered dinosaur fossil in 1996! This talk will focus on the recent history of feathered dinosaur finds and the surprises that came with them.

Join us on Wednesday, February 3 at 7 pm for a special presentation by Dr. Jordan Mallon, palaeontologist at the Canadian Museum of Nature where he studies dinosaur evolution and palaeoecology. He has named a number of new fossil species, including the horned dinosaur Spiclypeus shipporum. He regularly conducts fieldwork in Alberta and Saskatchewan, but his research has taken him around the world.

This event will be streamed live to THEMUSEUM’s Youtube Channel for FREE! This event has been extremely popular and we have run-out of pre-registrations. To set a reminder for the live stream, visit the YouTube page, or join us at 7pm
