Join Cross Cultures on Sunday, October 20 at THEMUSEUM for the start of Egypt Week in Waterloo Region! Learn about the heritage, civilization, culture and talents from ancient to present Egypt across various locations in Waterloo Region.
All activities are included in admission. Take advantage of free Sunday parking in the Duke Street parking lot, conveniently situated directly behind THEMUSEUM.

- book collection by Teama Publishing founder of the first in Canada Arabic Book Fair

- demos by artisans – Dr Waleed Qanoush patronage:
- “aragoz” – declared UNESCO heritage status plus demo how to make the doll
- artifacts, traditional craft products from oasis of Egypt with demo workshops which may include copper, silver, weaving, tent making, calligraphy, papyrus, earthenware

- Fashion show, of different regions and oases of Egypt
- Presentation of Egyptian visual identity in cinema – Shady el Hakeem aka Shady Adel Mohamed el Kilani movies to showcase from:
