Please Join us in Honouring National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
 
On Saturday, September 30, we will honour the children that never returned home as well as the survivors, their families, and communities that continue to suffer from experiences within the residential schools.
 
There will be no admission fee from 1:45pm on this important day, but we ask you to please register in advance!
 
Authors James Simon and Dan Graham’s Book Launch and Signing of Seven Grandfather Teachings: A Journey to Self-Healing and Artist James Simon exhibition Spirit Paintings of Mishibinijima. There will also be performances by the Spirit Nation Singers, and dancers, as well as a blessing by Chi Taa Kwe, Margaret Peggy Pitawanakwat.
 
THEMUSEUM will also launch its newest digital experience in the EYEPOOL gallery, IYINISIWIN, created by artists James Monkman (Cree) and Brian T. Moore (Settler). The immersive IYINISIWIN experience encourages guests to rediscover their interconnectedness to the universe.
