I Heart Earth: Valentine’s Day Party

This exciting drop-off event will provide your children with a chance to experience THEMUSEUM’s amazing programming (without the crowds) and for you and your partner to have a few hours to take advantage of the wonderful dining opportunities right here in Downtown Kitchener.

Not only will your children participate in kid-friendly activities and challenges in our new ALARM exhibitions, but they’ll also get a chance to get up close and personal with some of our new friends. We’ll play games, make crafts, all the while learning about what we can do to show the Earth our Love.

FAQ

How is the programming structured?
After drop-off, the Event Coordinator, will welcome all of the participants and provide them with a brief orientation to the building and about our safety procedures. We’ll start with a fun Little Ray’s Presentation and then have a snack. After snack, it’s time for our evening’s art project and then up to the floors for guided exploration and activities. While waiting for pick-up the children will play some fun party games.

What if my child becomes ill during the event?

At sign-in you will be asked to provide us with a contact number at which to reach you in the event that your child needs to leave early for any reason.

What if my child needs to carry emergency medication (e.g. EpiPen or inhaler)?

Unless your child wears their emergency medication on them at all times, please provide the sign-in desk with your children’s medication in a clear, sealed back with your child’s name on it and the dose in the event of an emergency. We will return your emergency medication at the end of the night.
