SUMMARY:Science Stage: Moon Craters
DESCRIPTION:The Moon is a big rocky ball that circles around the Earth\, co
vered with a blanket of dusty soil called regolith. When space rocks zoom
into the Moon really fast\, they make big dents called craters and cool sp
lashy patterns called ejecta. Because the Moon has no air to slow the rock
s down\, these crashes leave amazing marks that help us learn all about wh
ere and how the rocks hit!
