The Underground Studio MakerSpace
It all Starts Here
The Underground Studio MakerSpace opened its doors in November 2016 as a hands-on learning environment for children and youth to explore the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Through workshops, camps and school programs, we provide access to the tools and techniques required to shape the creators, inventors and thinkers of tomorrow!
We offer a wide range of programming designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity and develop new skills. Workshops and projects are designed to incorporate one or more of the seven core programs streams: 3D Modeling, Computer Programming, Circuitry & Soldering, Woodworking, Screen-printing, Textiles, and Deconstruction. We’re located on THEMUSEUM’s lower level – come down and explore our MakerSpace during one of our two 45-minute sessions!

Join on us in The Underground Studio MakerSpace to learn the proper techniques required to use wood shop tools, computers, soldering station, 3D printers and much more.
Students will learn by doing through experimentation, exploration and by ‘failing’ forward in unique workshops delivered in our one-of-a-kind MakerSpace.
Your generosity ensures that we are able to provide visitors with access to the newest technologies and the opportunities to explore, design, and make.
