11:30 am & 2:30 pm – StarLab StarShow: Take off your shoes, sit down, and get ready to be blasted off into space! Our StarLab Star Show is a must-see during your visit to THEMUSEUM. (1st Floor)
10 am – 12 pm – Open Studio in The Underground Studio MakerSpace: Individual stations will be used to teach how to use a sewing machine, solder, code, make circuits, 3D Model and more! (Basement)

Monday
11:00 am – Oh Spring Colour Me, Panwar Dance Troop: Hemant and Vaishali Panwar’s new dance work appreciates the creative energies of Mother Nature, embellished with vibrant colours at the advent of the season spring. Sunshine, loveliest of trees, blossoming flowers, fragrant breeze, chirping of birds, beautiful sight everywhere invokes the feeling of pure joy and immerse the passionate hearts with colours of love. The dancing duo will perform to a beautiful melody set to 16 beat time with intricate footwork patterns and stylized movements in Kathak dance style. Catch this performance in our Atrium.
All Day – Look carefully around THEMUSEUM to find the hidden signs with fun facts about colour in different cultures.
Tuesday
11:00 am – Balloon Making Machine Show: This one-of-a-kind live show with Drew Ripley will wow children and adults. Think of this show like a magic show, except that every stage involves balloons. Drew infuses the show with humour and creativity, sparking the imagination of audience members as they are pulled on stage to become part of the experience. Catch this performance in our Atrium.
12:00 pm – 3:00 pm – Candy Art: Creator Rena Wei will create candy art, right before your eyes. Also known as sugar painting, this traditional Chinese folk art is both beautiful and delicious. (2nd Floor)
All Day Craft – Carnival Masks: Decorate a mask to celebrate the colours and sights of the carnival. (3rd Floor)
Wednesday
10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Brain Day Scavenger Hunt: Visit all four floors of THEMUSEUM to learn about the brain and how it functions. Find all of the scavenger hunt’s activity stations and complete the puzzle and decorate a brain button.
10:30 am & 12:00 pm– Story Time: You’re never too old for Story Time. (1st Floor)
Thursday
All Day – March 14th. 3.14. In other words, it’s Pi Day! Celebrate with THEMUSEUM for a day of STEM programming and fun activity stations around THEMUSEUM!
10:00 am – Pie in the Face: How many Pi digits do you know? THEMUSEUM CEO David Marskell will get a pie in the face from whoever can recite the most numbers in the Pi sequence! Catch this in our Atrium.
11:00 am & 1:00 pm – Colour Chemistry Short: Learn about reactions, acids and bases with some fun colour-changing chemistry. Let’s be honest, it’s not science unless there are beakers of colourful liquids. Catch this performance in our Atrium.
Friday
All Day – Celtic Knot Colouring: Spend some time colouring a Celtic knot in this fun group project. The finished product will be showcased over the weekend in celebration of St.Patrick’s Day! (2nd Floor)
11:00 am – Irish Dance Performance: Join us for an exciting show from the Intensely Irish Traditional Irish Dancing Troup. Catch this in our Atrium.
1:00 pm – Fairy Doors Story Time: You’re never too old for Story Time. Join us as we escape to lands far far away. (1st Floor)
1:30 pm – 4:00 pm – Fairy Doors Scavenger Hunt: Search THEMUSEUM and find all the Fairy doors.
2:00 pm – Creation Station: Irish Real Life takes over our craft time with a lesson in Irish history. (2nd Floor)

All Day – K’Nex Bridge Building Competition: Join the Professional Engineers Ontario Grand River Chapter for a weekend of National Engineering Month celebrations. Test your mettle by designing your very own bridge using K’Nex, and test your bridge’s stability among other competitors. Prizes will be awarded for the twenty-five bridges that bear the most mass. Catch this in our Atrium. All prizes are being provided by Basic Fun, USA.
