Marijuana Exhibition Keeps THEMUSEUM Rolling

Kitchener – April 1, 2018

‘Back to the Garden’ to open in time for Woodstock’s 50th

More from 570’s Erin Anderson:

THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener is busy cultivating a major exhibition on marijuana. CEO David Marskell says “it is a timely and somewhat controversial topic that is also timely.”

According to Marskell, THEMUSEUM’s Board of Directors “lit up when I described it to them. A joint committee was formed to look at speakers and possibly black lights.”

While high on the theme, Marskell admits specific content remains hazy, though it will “loosely coincide with the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, which makes it timely,” adding “It is a timely exhibition.”

Though the exhibition may bring protesters, he insists THEMUSEUM staff are ready to weed out naysayers. “This is not a pipe dream” he says, “and while we may receive brownie points from some we believe wholeheartedly…” He then stared silently at his desk.

With a few weeks to go, THEMUSEUM is reaching out to possible corporate partners. Though some have just said ‘no’, Marskell is undeterred. “We’re after Oreo Fudge Cookies, Wine Gums and Skippy Peanut Butter (the crunchy kind), but we really, really want Doritos.”

“It’s a timely exhibition,” he added.

The exhibit will open 4/20/18.
