All regular exhibitions, select events and programs reduced to $12.99 April 23 – June 1
THEMUSEUM is pleased to announce special admission rates during May, which is Museum Month.
“We are grateful to Kitchener Mayor Vrbanovic and Councillors for their trust in our organization and investment in both the arts and culture sector and downtown businesses,” said David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM.
“One of the commitments made by THEMUSEUM in securing three-year funding was to ensure accessibility. As a thank you to the city and Kitchener residents THEMUSEUM is reducing regular admission rates to $12.99 for everyone beginning Wednesday April 23rd until Sunday June 1st. THEMUSEUM is open for business, and we want to celebrate with the entire community.”
From April 23rd until June 1st, THEMUSEUM will hold several special programming and events for all stages of life who will be able to take advantage of a lower admission and increased programming:
- May 4th, celebrate Star Wars Day with Jedi Training, Star Wars Cosplay Guests and a themed vendor market, reminiscent of the annual TriCon Convention.
- May 17th, THEMUSEUM will open KALEIDOSCOPE – a new immersive experience featuring local and international artists. Guests of all ages can step into a swirling vortex, explore a dazzling mirror tower, and spark their creativity through a full floor of interactive exhibits.
- June 1st, the last day of the promotion, is our annual Family Pride event which boasts a vendor market and family-themed performances to celebrate Pride.
All Rental rates will also be reduced by 15% during this period for rentals booked to occur in 2025. The rental discounts will apply to weddings, corporate rentals, parties in THELOUNGE, corporate team building days, children’s birthday parties, and Holiday Parties. KALEIDOSCOPE will be featured on the fourth level during this time.
