SPECTRUM Exhibition Gets Summer Refresh! New Immersive Experiences Setting Attendance Records

Posted on: July 2, 2019 by THEMUSEUM

Kitchener, ON

The exhibition responsible for setting new attendance highs this spring has four new colourful, interactive, and even nostalgic installations for visitors of all ages.

THEMUSEUM is on a roll setting four monthly records this year,” said David Marskell CEO, THEMUSEUM. “Attracting new audiences including young adults, tech workers and visitors to the Region we are in a good place as the ION starts to roll. Art & Technology at Play was the original motto of the organization and we stay true to that as we tweak a successful exhibition for our summer audience.” Marskell went on to say.

Visitors might recognize the familiarity of the Lite-Brite inspired EverBright, one of the newest additions to the ever-popular exhibition. Everbright is the modern evolution of the Lite-Brite. Conceived by Oakland-based designer-neuroscientist Dr. Alan Rorie of Hero Design, this mixed-media interactive light board is composed of hundreds of colour dials that can be turned endlessly in either direction through the colour spectrum. The entire board erases with the press of a button, removing every obstacle to creativity.

As always, THEMUSEUM endeavours to create harmony between art and technology while working to awe and inspire each and every visitor. SPECTRUM #colourtripping has been doing just that with its playable interactives and colour-immersive experiences.

SPECTRUM and all of its new installations, as well as some original fan favourites, is open to the public seven days a week, all summer long!
