THEMUSEUM Pass Lending Program in Partnership with Libraries Now Available

Posted on: April 15, 2019 by THEMUSEUM

THEMUSEUM is working in partnership with local libraries Kitchener Public Library, Waterloo Public Library, Idea Exchange and Region of Waterloo Library to connect local residents to arts and culture and make regional culture hubs more accessible.

Lending Program passes to THEMUSEUM are now available at Kitchener Public Library, Waterloo Public Library, Idea Exchange and Region of Waterloo Library and can be borrowed from any of these public libraries in the same way a book is borrowed. The pass allows standard admission for a family of up to two adults and up to 4 children and can be borrowed for up to one week. Users will be permitted access to THEMUSEUM similar to a general admission but at no cost to the pass holder. Passes are not valid for THEMUSEUM ticketed events, camps, or workshops.

THEMUSEUM is thrilled to join other cultural institutions in offering free admission to residents of Waterloo Region. This Lending Program will provide opportunities for quality family time through play, discovery and learning. This is just the next step in our efforts to create accessibility, a great compliment to our Sun Life Access Pass program that invites individuals from non-profit service organizations to join us for free. We welcome everyone to THEMUSEUM!” – Paige Phillips, Director of Development & Membership for THEMUSEUM.

The Pass Lending Program allows THEMUSEUM to awe, inspire, and enlighten more people within the community than ever before by connecting residents to arts and culture.

"Just scanning the themes here, I think you and the programming team should be very proud of the relevance of your institution to so many of the important conversations of our time. Please keep doing what you’re doing!"
