THEMUSEUM Presents Free Community Workshop on Mental Health

Posted on: May 10, 2018 by THEMUSEUM

Kitchener, Ontario – In recognition of Mental Health Week, THEMUSEUM has partnered with Art with Impact and Manulife to offer a safe space to share experiences, information and resources.

Movies for Mental Health is an invitation to the community to have an open and honest conversation about mental health. This free workshop includes short films by OLIVE Film Collection, interactive discussions regarding the material, and a panel comprised of those willing to share their story.

Members of the media are invited to attend this sold-out event; it runs from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at THEMUSEUM, 10 King Street West, on Thursday, May 10. Due to the sensitive nature of the workshop, please ensure that verbal confirmation is acquired before recording or quoting panelists or attendees. THEMUSEUM staff will be available to facilitate interviews and photos.
