Kitchener, ON – As THEMUSEUM in Downtown Kitchener reopens attention now turns to the pop-up climate experience, SPECTRUM | The Climate Emergency Experience at The Shops in Waterloo Town Square. It will reopen at 4pm Wednesday, July 22, 2020.
SPECTRUM | The Climate Emergency Experience is the third component to ALARM | Responding to our Climate Emergency and offers a unique, immersive perspective on the critical conversation around our climate.
With a new reduced rate of $5.99 for Future Members, it is FREE for Members for the duration of its run.
As with THEMUSEUM, the experience at SPECTRUM opens with high standards concerning health and safety. Timed tickets and social distancing practices will be put in place to allow for an immersive experience while remaining hands-off.
“We are thrilled to be able to return to the important narrative of climate emergency,” said David Marskell CEO of THEMUSEUM. “What we have all experienced with COVID 19 could pale in comparison to the collapse of our environment.”
SPECTRUM | The Climate Emergency Experience will be open Wednesday – Friday from 4pm – 9pm and Saturdays 12pm – 4pm. The exhibition complements both MELTING ICE and Agents for Change | Facing the Anthropocene, which can be found at THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener.
