1 Night. 21 Artists. 4 Rounds. 36 Original Works.

Now in its 7th year, THEMUSEUM is proud to host Kitchener-Waterloo’s original live painting competition, The Brush Off! During this fundraising event, artists are invited to participate in a friendly competition, painting and creating art in front of a live audience of 500 people. Artists will expose and be exposed to the wealth of artistic talent that exists in this community and beyond!

Guests will come for the party atmosphere, and witness this fast-paced art making. They will enjoy the intensity of the creative process, as well as a cocktail while they dance to the music! Guests will have an opportunity to mingle with the artists, vote for their favourite works in each round, and bid on the paintings created in the silent auction!

THEMUSEUM is a registered not for profit, charitable organization and hosts events like The Brush Off to fundraise in order to operate and offer the community fresh and relevant exhibitions, programming and events.

Each artist will donate their time to create the art, and THEMUSEUM and artist will share in the silent auction proceeds. Along with the artists, guests support THEMUSEUM at the event through tickets sales, art sales, and drink sales.
