THEMUSEUM’s 2024 edition of TriCon is a great opportunity to support arts & culture and the revitalization of the downtown Kitchener core!

TriCon combines a convention, vendor fair, and speaker events into one weekend that immerses guests in all things pop culture, sci-fi, comics, anime, visual art, digital technology, interactive tech-art, and more!

During this weekend-long event, guests will visit local vendors, enjoy a range of panels, explore all 5 floors of THEMUSEUM and see our world class exhibitions, make crafts in the Underground Studio MakerSpace, visit and take photos with Cosplay groups, and so much more.

Create Your Own Comic Contest

Have you ever wanted to create your own comic? TriCon 2024, Waterloo Region’s premiere fan event, and Studiocomix Press wants to see what you can do!

All submissions will be displayed at THEMUSEUM during TriCon 2024, and the winners will be included in a printed volume that will be sold at the event!

You can pick up a contest sheet at either THEMUSEUM’s front desk, or Studio Comix. Please check each location for hours.

ELIGIBILITY

Entrants must be in grades one to six, and a student within the Waterloo Region District School Board.
One entry per person.

Vendors

We are looking for vendors for our vendor fair that sell unique offerings related to pop culture, sci-fi, comics, anime, visual art, technology, and more!

*Vendors MUST be able to attend both days of TriCon.

TriCon is looking for cosplayers and personalities to attend the full weekend to activate our space and act as ambassadors leading up to the convention.
