Alt-Verse is an immersive exhibition showcasing the interactive media artworks of Fine Arts students from the Fall 2024 cohort of FINE 247 at the University of Waterloo . Under the guidance of artist and Fine Arts professor Xuan Ye, these emerging creative technologists explore alternate worlds, speculative realities, and digital ecosystems that challenge our perceptions of technology, identity, and space.
These works transform EYEPOOL into portals to alternative dimensions, utilizing cutting-edge technology to expand the possibilities of human-computer interaction.
Initially critiqued in December 2024 with input from THEMUSEUM’s curatorial and technology team, the most compelling projects have been selected for public exhibition.
