A Warm Sunflower Art Exhibition
February 2025 – March 2025
In the post-pandemic era, Belinda Zhang has noticed an increasing number of people in her social circle struggling with mental health challenges. Having worked in the arts for many years, she understands that art can serve as a powerful, non-verbal way to express emotions and inner thoughts. Through these creative methods, individuals can release stress, anxiety, and deep-seated emotions, offering significant therapeutic benefits.
The sunflower, a symbol of joy, sunshine, and warmth, became Belinda’s inspiration. Last year, she began painting sunflowers with the goal of creating 100 sunflower artworks to share with the community—spreading positivity and light through art.
Community art projects allow more people to use art as a means of connection, encouraging dialogue with their surroundings and fostering a deeper understanding of the relationship between individuals and society. These projects provide inspiration and enrichment for everyday life.
