Kitchener, ON – Today THEMUSEUM announced that the collaboration with its restaurant partner, now closed due to COVID-19, will not reopen.
“It is with heavy hearts we announce that our Food & Beverage outlets have been extremely impacted by the pandemic and we must realign as an organization,” said Billie-Anne Arthur, Managing Director, B Hospitality / Cambridge Hotel & Conference Centre. Arthur went on to say, “The B has been part of THEMUSEUM for the past 5 years and they have been an amazing partner. We would like to thank them as well as the community for all the love and support over the years. We wish THEMUSEUM every success as they navigate their way through these unprecedented times.”
David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM applauded the entire team at the B and its parent organization for a half decade of good times, great food and a true partnership. “I know this management team and their professional attitude and skills and know they will succeed again. I also understand the hit they, along with many others, have taken, due to COVID-19 and the business decision that has been made. I am sorry for the community who will lose a wonderful gathering space in the downtown.”
THEMUSEUM is considering options for the space in context of new ways to reinvent itself. “Now is not the time to simply replace what we once had for arts & culture. Now is the time to rethink, reboot and form new strategic alliances and that is what the team at THEMUSEUM is strategizing about now.”
