Free Thursdays #DTKLIVE in support of local businesses, bars, and restaurants
KITCHENER, ON | Thursday, January 12, 2023 – Linda Jutzi, Executive Director of the Downtown Kitchener Business Improvement Area (BIA) announced today that they have teamed up with THEMUSEUM to bring a series of FREE concerts during February, March and April. The BIA anticipates up to 10 concerts as part of this Winter Series.
“Thursdays free Downtown Kitchener LIVE is meant to attract people from across the Region to enjoy the many bars, restaurants, and businesses in the Downtown district,” says Linda Jutzi, executive director of the Downtown Kitchener Business Improvement area (BIA). “With more than 400 covered parking spots in the parking arcade off of Duke Street with direct entrance to THEMUSEUM plus north and southbound ION stations less three minutes away it is an easy affordable outing to help get all of us through the winter!”
From Thursday, February 2, 2023, there will be approximately 10 eclectic music filled free parties held at THEMUSEUM in downtown Kitchener ending in early April. The +19 licenced experiences will begin at 6:00 PM each Thursday when THELOUGNE at THEMUSEUM will open. The entertainment will perform from 7:00
PM – 9:00 PM.
