Kitchener, ON July 14, 2021— THEMUSEUM team is excited to open its doors once again for the public this Friday, July 16th at 10:00 am. Closed since November staff have installed three new exhibitions and summer camp is filling up. It promised to be a return to summers of the past for pandemic stressed families!
David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM, said… “It’s like preparing for a family dinner, we’re cleaning, getting everything organized and making sure everyone will have a safe and enjoyable experience as they return.” “Mindful of experiences that don’t require touching, the team has created immersive yet fun exhibitions for members and guests.”
Current exhibitions include Dinosaurs | The Age of Big Weird Feathered Things which explores the modern dinosaur and what we know now. Get up close to snap that perfect selfie with lifelike robotic dinosaurs, or should we say feather-saurs? These are not your father’s dinosaurs but bring him along and learn something new about everyone’s favourite extinct reptiles!
SONICA | The Sound Experience brings together eight inspiring artists and artist groups from around the world to interpret and explore sound. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in each unique installation while being able to share their personal experiences with sound and even silence. SONICA is a hands-free interactive exhibition.
SENSORY PATH a new hands-off interactive experience awaits! Hop, jump, and play your way through our space with our new Sensory Path! This interactive keeps kids moving and engaged while ensuring physical distancing and a hands-off interactive experience.
