Discounted Admission, Special Programming During Museum Month of May
THEMUSEUM is excited to be hosting their 1,500,000th visitor during the month of May, which happens to be Museum Month.
“It is such a significant and wonderful milestone for our iconic arts and culture organization,” said David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM. “I personally am pleased and proud of all of our Board members, staff, and volunteers who over our first 20 years have worked so hard in attracting so many people to the downtown core, helping to fill restaurants and stores.”
The 1,500,000th visitor will receive a one night “staycation” at the Delta Waterloo including a $50 gift certificate to Proof Kitchen + Lounge, four Annual Memberships and a prize pack from THEMUSEUM’s gift shop, THESTORE, valued at more than $150!
To add to the celebration THEMUSEUM has reduced admission for everyone to only $10.99+HST from May 8 to June 7. As always THEMUSEUM Members and children four and under receive complimentary admission.
THESTORE will also be holding a month-long sale with up to 60% savings!
Beginning in May EYEPOOL, the Region’s first immersive digital gallery, will see the return of the popular interaction IMPOSSIBLE GEOMETRIES.
The fourth level will be in transition during this time as THEMUSEUM team prepares to open a self-curated exhibition called GIRAFFE | A Heightened Experience which celebrates the work of local scientist Dr. Anne Innis Dagg.
THEMUSEUM will be open Wednesday through Sunday with hours and online tickets available at THEMUSEUM.ca.
