THEMUSEUM, in collaboration with the Anne Innis Dagg Foundation, invites you to an extraordinary evening honouring the life and contributions of Waterloo’s pioneering giraffologist, Dr. Anne Innis Dagg. Proceeds from the event will support the Anne Innis Dagg Foundation and its vital efforts in giraffe conservation. Additional beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Event Details:
6:00 to 7:15pm You’ll be greeted by the giraffe stilt-walkers upon arriving to this cocktail style event. Snap pictures with friends in the free Photo Booth, sip on a welcome beverage and enjoy private access to GIRAFFE | A Heightened Experience, an exhibition curated by THEMUSEUM, that celebrates the lifelong work of Dr. Dagg. As well, there will be a silent auction of framed photos taken by Dr. Dagg when she was traveling through Africa in 1956/1957.

7:30-9:00pm Grab a free bag of popcorn, learn about Anne’s amazing Foundation, and then enjoy a screening of the award-winning documentary The Woman Who Loves Giraffes, followed by an engaging Q&A session with Anne’s daughter Mary Dagg, and the film’s director, Alison Reid.

Tickets are $50 plus taxes & fees.
