THEMUSEUM #FFWR: What does art mean to you?
Between September 16 and October 4, 2015, a group of local artists from across Waterloo Region, who call themselves Collective Identity, have taken over THEMUSEUM’s fourth floor gallery space. Cam Turner helped THEMUSEUM spearhead Maker Club, and has also gone on to start his own organization, Tinker Truck. Maker Club sessions, which run once a month, have sold out consistently for the past six months.

THEMUSEUM Community Stage: Third Annual Refugee Art Show
For the third year in a row, THEMUSEUM is pleased to present its annual Refugee Art Show, which will be on display from June 3 to June 21, 2015. The installation coincides with World Refugee Day, which is observed every year on June 20.
Museum After Dark: Headphone Disco
2001: A Space Odyssey Art & Music Experience allowed visitors to dance through space and time. The iconic Star Child hung from the ceiling, and photo-ops were available with in infamous HAL 9000. Tight & Bright 80s Retro Laser Dance Party featured a breathtaking laser show, and a DJ and live musicians that entertained guests all night.
Museum After Dark: Studio 54
After five years, Studio 54 is back again! This time, guests can pick a side to this year’s theme: Saints and Sinners. Whether you’re naughty or nice, good or evil, you can dress up, act the part, and let loose on Saturday, February 28.
Museum After Dark: The Brush Off
For the fourth year in a row The Brush Off is back! On January 24, THEMUSEUM will come alive with some of Waterloo Region’s most well-known and emerging artists. The night will be filled with live-art, music, a cash bar, and quality entertainment.
